Hello Foot, Enter Mouth !

From here :

It's interesting to see each other's balls. Mine's, one side is a little bit rougher than Ben Hilfenhaus.
Mitchell Johnson explains that Australia's bowlers have practiced different methods of shining the Duke balls used in England

Aside from that :

if 'Twi'-plagiarism is true - and it sounds like it possibly could be - I won't be surprised. Not at all.

:{ if another twit sends me another mail with the word 'univercity' ... I ... GRR ! ... I dunno what I shall proceed to do ... Prolly go spare. Prolly ... *Considering other, more satisfyingly crunchy and subsequently slippery and Ferrous-smelling options*

did I mention I really, really loathe IPL ? EWW

*Giggle*

...

Quotes/Excerpts :

One member of the national team said he could take any amount of sledging from the Australians, including having his batting style likened to parts of a women's anatomy he never knew existed, but admitted that being called a "hairy petal" was getting to him.

It is believed that a core of the SA team have agreed to take on their own nickname. "Yeah, we've got like a secret group, like in Dead Poets Society, except without the dodgy poetry reading and literature stuff," said the player. "We call ourselves the 'Charlies' after one of our sponsors ... ... Clever, huh? Now we just need to win the last Test so we can be proper Charlies."

Most things are annoying me now

...

Weather is HORRIBLE. I itch. The air's filthily dry, Dry, DRY, and it's hurting my skin, dammit

I don't want to be here, I want to be in Rio. That's Rio de Janeiro. It's one of the two most marvellous places on earth, for me

Oh well, cricket isn't bad, at the moment, that is ... ... *Cackle cackle* Repercussions iZ tasty. Very VERY tasty ! I shall be watching today. And licking my lips. And giggling. Prolly dementedly *GiggleGiggle*

A particular newly elected administration of a particular country ruined my one very good chance of doing some decent work. I hope they burn. Slowly. And very painfully

The same goes for slightly older-elected administrations of some other countries. I hope they rot, slowly, and painfully

Goaded to extremity by the posting of this ... this maddening recipe, I gave in, and made shortbread, and ate it with cool banana and cool purple seedless grapes and chocolate and vanilla and nuts icecream. I think I can hold out for a few days before doing that again *Hopes*

Good one, eh ?

'My enemy's enemy is my friend' XD XD

No, don't expect me to be magnanimous. I am not magnanimous, never have been. And I'm going to REALLY enjoy seeing SA sans Nel being trounced all ways. And at home. And at Jo'burg, no less. *Evil giggle*

Babbling ...

...

This year I have stuff to do. And I hope to be able to do them.

Among the bloggy things ... 'm here to read, and comment, neither of which is an obligation. I'm also not very inclined to keep a daily diary, and I don't do so.
Also, I prefer to avoid pandering to egos, which means I shall try to be regular in updating my filters so that I, according to my choice, read those which remain connected (my two way filter).
I shall also check the one way filter I have (containing those I still have friended) and throw out that I consider trash as I don't pander to egos.
I've always thought (and still think) it tacky to have a 'friending policy' hanging up there somewhere or posting like wannabe prima donnas made of fail - 'those who want to stay on, comment here', but the basic fact is, I don't disconnect first. Once I'm disconnected with, though, what I do with the connection from my end is entirely my affair, and that's for eternity.

Events have happened since I came into blogs which have too often hindered me commenting as often as I would like.
However, I don't read the blogs I connect to only as reading material. I do not choose to connect to those I am not favourably impressed by. These are people writing the stuff, and there are times when what I read makes me feel things which stop me from commenting because it would be impossible to convey in mere words what I feel in response.

I realise that the people who have friended me know precious little about that which is real-life-me, and should any one wish to know more than I feel like posting in public fora such as blogs, just ask. I say this because sometimes I get terribly curious about the people I am reading about and talking to and feel like asking. Sometimes I even give in to temptation and ask, and am answered - which gives me a guilty twinge everytime I do not say things.

I have also, inspite of reading fanficcie stuffs, written next to nothing much in the fanficcie ways ... And I'm not too good with requests and all. Another source of guilty twinges there. Could be that attention deficit thingy. Not sure, though. However, I had started writing a DW fanfic, with Vetinari, of course ... I wonder if anyone would like to read that sort of stuff should I finish and post it. If anyone would, then I shall put in an open post.

Apart from that, there's cricket, of course. An occasionally pleasant distraction from the mess that is everything ... But then there are so many messes in it too ... Oh well, looking forward to the next lot of matches, then.

Also, Virender Sehwag ROX. About this I shall yield to no one and nothing ! Ever !!

And while Graeme Smith is a stuffy annoying twit, I must admit he's the best comic relief (for me) I've seen in cricket since David Gower. The big difference is, David's extremely intelligent and does it all deliberately and with malice aforethought Naughty Naughty ! Graeme Smith, however, does it effortlessly and without the application of any sort of thought process whatsoever. Bravo, Graeme ! Only thing is, this is really not a good time to run home, is it now ? I just hope no one ever cottons on to his silly childish little games XD

PotC, of course, raises it's head again, what with TV runs going on at these year-end-times ... the films are fine. Great, actually. Oddly though, I like Matt Damon films better. Depp stuff is too sweet. I'd also love to see more Salma Hayek stuff. Let's see if I ever get round to it.

And Finally, Alan Rickman is GOD ! Any issues with that, God ?

Hmm, I thought not :)

The things I find ! XD

This is Glenn McGrath, and this is Brett Lee, Australian cricket playing fast bowlers, generally considered to be all around tough eggs and hard nuts by people who know them up close an’ pers’nal like.

And this (only excerpts here below, but it’s enough, I think) is Glenn McGrath Stu and Brett Lee Stu as sourced from suethor/s … … er, I think that should be Stu-thor/s, really.

Cut so as to not cause general HeddSplodey )

Amazing, innit ? XD XD
Honestly, horny teenie females who haven’t the faintest idea of interactions between men shouldn’t be allowed to type. *Continues larfin’ hedd orf*
